Community Outreach for the residents at Walnut Acres

Throughout 2023 and into 2024, Laura Youngblut and her friends have held regular events for the community, adults and children, to come together and make items for the residents, employees, CNAs, and nurses who live and work at Walnut Acres. They have made valentines, shamrocks, fourth of July cards, flower cards, and colorful paper chains to name a few. 

They just finished the second annual Valentine's card event and during the winter of 2023 they made over 60 blankets.
